Murtala Mohamed Kamara is a media entrepreneur, the Founder/CEO of SaloneJamboree newspaper, Sierra Leone's foremost Arts and entertainment magazine. He is the outgoing Curator of The Global Shapers Community Freetown Hub and also Sierra Leone correspondent for D.W radio Germany. Kamara is a Goodwill Ambassador for Calabatown Community (In Sierra Leone). The BBC trained Journalist has worked with several local and international publications including Holland based www.africanews.com (now defunct), were he served as West Africa regional correspondent among other things. He established The Cotton tree magazine, a Sierra Leonean quarterly published in the U.K. Kamara is well respected young leader, a motivational speaker and a mentor. He is regarded as one of the most promising young leaders of Sierra Leone. He has won several local and international awards for his works including SLMTV 2011 Journalist of The Year. He is passionate about helping humanity.
